Standard Kids Hosts Pre-KG Parent Orientation
On June 26, 2024, Standard Kids organized a crucial Parent Orientation Programme for Pre-KG families on the school campus. This event was designed to equip parents with essential information, support, and resources necessary for understanding and actively engaging in their child’s educational journey.
The orientation program covered a wide range of topics vital to new Pre-KG parents. It began with an introduction to the school, providing an overview of Standard Kids’ philosophy and approach to early childhood education. Parents were then presented with a comprehensive curriculum overview, giving them insight into what their children would be learning throughout the academic year.
A significant portion of the orientation was dedicated to explaining school policies and procedures, ensuring parents were well-informed about the institution’s rules and expectations. The event also provided an opportunity for parents to meet their children’s teachers, fostering a sense of connection and open communication between families and educators.
The program emphasized the importance of parental involvement in a child’s academic success and personal development. It offered guidance on how parents could support their children’s learning at home and participate in school activities. Additionally, the orientation addressed transition support, providing strategies to help children adjust to the new school environment. The event concluded with a question and answer session, allowing parents to voice their concerns and seek clarification, further strengthening the partnership between the school and families. Through this comprehensive orientation, Standard Kids aims to create a strong foundation for collaboration, ensuring a smooth and successful educational journey for Pre-KG students.
