Parents’ Orientation Programme (Junior KG) at Standard Kids

The primary aim of an orientation programme for parents is to equip them with essential information, support, and resources, enabling them to understand and engage in their child’s educational journey. At Standard Kids, we are committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for both parents and students. On 22nd June 2024, we conducted a Parents’ Orientation Programme on our school campus specifically for the parents of Junior KG students. This event marked an important step in building a strong foundation for our students’ educational experience.

The key objectives of the programme were meticulously designed to provide a comprehensive overview of what parents can expect throughout the school year. The session began with an introduction to the school, highlighting our mission, values, and the vibrant community we have cultivated. Following this, we provided an overview of the curriculum, detailing the educational framework and the pedagogical approaches that will be employed to ensure holistic development. Additionally, we outlined the school policies and procedures, ensuring that parents are well-informed about the operational aspects and the standards we uphold.

A significant portion of the programme was dedicated to introducing our dedicated team of teachers. This segment aimed to establish a personal connection between the parents and the educators, fostering a sense of trust and openness. We also emphasized the importance of parental involvement, encouraging parents to actively participate in their child’s educational journey. To facilitate a smooth transition for the young students, we offered transition support and shared strategies to help children adapt to the new environment.

The programme concluded with a dynamic question and answer session, allowing parents to address any concerns or queries they might have. This interactive session underscored our commitment to maintaining open lines of communication with our parent community. Overall, the orientation programme was designed to build a strong partnership between the school and the parents, ensuring a seamless and enriching journey for the children, both academically and personally. We believe that such collaborative efforts will significantly contribute to the holistic development and well-being of our students.
