Independence Day

SPS celebrated the nation’s 72nd Independence Day on 15th August 2019 and remembered with gratitude the sacrifice of the freedom fighters. The celebration began in the school premises with the unfurling of the national flag followed by national anthem. A speech with patriotic Zeal and fervor by the chairman Dr.V.Chandrasekar. Van Mahotsav

Van Mahotsav, a week-long festival of planting trees is organized every year in the first week of July across India when millions of trees are planted. To celebrate the festival of trees called Van Mahotsav, students of SPS participated in various activities which was conducted in a week-long event.

CISCE Sports Meet

We are glad that our students had prepared to participate in inter-school sports & Yoga competitions held at various places and have proved as a Never Giving Up team with a fighting spirit ignited within themselves.This attitude has paved the way to the beginning of the success story. The students had participated in under 17 yoga competitions conducted by CISCE 

Teachers Day

SPS organized a grand teacher’s day for their teachers on 5th Sep 2018. The students dedicated beautiful cultural performances to their teachers and it was hugely appreciated by one and all. Festivals of India

The rich and vibrant festivals of India are a testimony to our diverse tradition and culture. Festivals in India revolve around Lord’s birthdays, traditional myths, seasonal changes, relationships and much more. Festivals are celebrated irrespective of religions or caste in the country bringing people closer and creating a strong bond of humanity. SPS celebrated festivals of India on 3rd September 

National Sports Day

The National Sports Day of India was celebrated at SPS on 29th August 2018 as a tribute to the legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand. The students were told about the importance of sports and the relevance of National Sports Day during the assembly. The day marks the birth anniversary of hockey wizard, Major Dhyan Chand.


ool, Mathikere for Cubs & Bulbul on 4th August 2018. Students from our school participated in the competition (Patriotic song) and they were awarded with certificates. The cubs & bulbul of our school participated in the Geetha Gayana competition held at GM NPS Mathikere, on 4th August 2018. All of them were awarded with certificates.

Kargil Vijay Diwas

It was celebrated on 26th July 2018 to commemorate the success of Indian armed forces during operation Vijay.Students of our school delivered speeches, conducted various programmes and performed a skit on this occasion. The students and teachers paid homage to 535 soldiers who laid their life for the country by lighting the lamp and observing silence

Investiture Ceremony

The official ceremony of conferring titles and investing powers, to the members of the school council was organized at the Investiture ceremony at SPS on 11th July 2018.The chief guest of the day was Mr.Prashanth.Y.C, CUB master. The event began with the school band giving a ceremonial welcome to the chief guest. The lighting of the lamp marked the beginning 

International Yoga Day

International Yoga day was celebrated by the students and teachers at SPS with great enthusiasm on 21st June 2018. The chief guest of the day was Mr.Pradeep Kumar retired CDRE DGM of SBG and practitioner of Sri Ramachandra mission and Sri Sri Shivayogi Swamiji from Geethashrama, Bhagyapalli. Students of grade VI to X demonstrated various asanas followed by Omkar chanting
