🌱 Vana Mahotsava Celebration 🌿
Vana Mahotsava was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy on 3rd July 2026 at the Standard Kids Campus for our enthusiastic Junior KG and Senior KG students. The celebration provided the little ones with a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature and understand the importance of trees, forests, and the environment. Through simple and engaging activities, the children were introduced to the spirit of Vana Mahotsava and encouraged to develop a sense of love, respect, and responsibility towards nature from an early age.
The young learners were introduced to the vital role forests play in sustaining life on Earth. They learned that trees provide us with oxygen, support wildlife, maintain ecological balance, and contribute to a healthier planet. The children were also encouraged to understand the importance of protecting trees, conserving forests, and caring for animals and birds. These valuable lessons helped them realize that even small actions, such as planting a tree, avoiding waste, and keeping their surroundings clean, can contribute towards creating a greener and healthier future.
As part of the celebration, the children participated in a creative and meaningful activity using fallen leaves. They created beautiful bird and animal figures from the natural materials, turning something simple and easily available into imaginative works of art. This hands-on activity encouraged the children to explore their creativity while learning the importance of reusing natural materials. Their colourful ideas and enthusiastic participation made the activity both enjoyable and educational, allowing them to learn important environmental values through play and creativity.
The Vana Mahotsava celebration was a memorable learning experience that beautifully combined environmental awareness, creativity, and fun. It encouraged our young learners to appreciate the beauty of nature and understand their role in protecting it.
