Kannada Rajyotsava – Red & Yellow Day Celebration

Kannada Rajyotsava, also known as Karnataka Formation Day, is celebrated on November 1st every year to mark the formation of the state of Karnataka in 1956. On this special day, people across the state proudly honor their language, culture, and traditions. The red and yellow colors of the Karnataka flag symbolize bravery and prosperity, and they fill the atmosphere with pride and joy.

To commemorate this occasion, our institution celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava and Red & Yellow Day with great enthusiasm. The entire campus was decorated with red and yellow balloons, flags, and flowers, creating a festive and patriotic mood. Everyone dressed in the vibrant hues of red and yellow, showing their love and respect for Karnataka and its rich cultural heritage.

The celebration began with the hoisting of the Karnataka flag, followed by the singing of the state anthem, “Jaya Bharata Jananiya Tanujate.” Students presented energetic cultural programs, including traditional dances, folk songs, and speeches highlighting the beauty and legacy of the Kannada language. These performances reflected the unity and pride of Kannadigas.

The day served as a reminder for everyone to preserve and promote the Kannada language and culture. It was a moment of joy, pride, and togetherness as we celebrated the spirit of Karnataka. The Red and Yellow Day, combined with Kannada Rajyotsava, truly inspired everyone to uphold the values, traditions, and dignity of our beloved state.
