Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration with Our Little Bunnies
The joyous festival of Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with immense enthusiasm and devotion by the Bunnies of The Bharat Scouts and Guides unit. The celebration was filled with laughter, creativity, and the sweet innocence of our youngest learners, who came together to honor Lord Ganesha — the symbol of wisdom, prosperity, and good beginnings.
The day began with a brief introduction about the significance of Ganesh Chaturthi. The teachers explained how Lord Ganesha is worshipped as the remover of obstacles and the god of knowledge and success. The children listened with curiosity and excitement, eager to participate in the special celebration that awaited them.
One of the highlights of the event was the clay idol-making activity. With great excitement, the little Bunnies rolled up their sleeves and began shaping their very own Lord Ganesha idols using soft clay. Guided by their teachers, they molded the clay with care and creativity — some adding tiny crowns, others decorating their Ganeshas with simple yet heartfelt touches. It was heartwarming to see their little hands at work, filled with devotion and joy.
This hands-on activity was more than just fun; it was a wonderful learning experience. The children learned about the importance of teamwork, patience, and artistic expression, while also understanding the value of eco-friendly celebrations. The classroom buzzed with positive energy as the young learners shared materials, helped one another, and admired each other’s creations.
Once completed, the beautifully crafted idols were displayed with pride, turning the space into a mini exhibition of devotion and creativity. The atmosphere was vibrant — filled with festive songs, smiles, and the divine spirit of Lord Ganesha.
The Ganesh Chaturthi celebration was truly a memorable experience for our Bunnies. It not only nurtured their creative and spiritual sides but also instilled values of faith, unity, and respect for tradition. The day concluded with cheerful faces, hearts full of happiness, and a shared sense of accomplishment.
