6th Co-curricular Activity “Ice Cream Stick Craft” – Jr. KG

The 6th Co-curricular Activity, “Ice Cream Stick Craft,” was conducted with great enthusiasm for Junior KG students of Standard Kids on 27th January 2026. The classroom buzzed with excitement as the little learners eagerly gathered their materials and listened attentively to the instructions. This thoughtfully planned activity aimed to nurture creativity and encourage hands-on learning among young children. From the very beginning, the students showed keen interest and curiosity, making the atmosphere lively, cheerful, and filled with positive energy.

During the activity, the children showcased their imagination by creating a wide range of attractive items using ice cream sticks. They designed colorful geometric patterns, beautiful photo frames, small gift boxes, and various decorative models with great care and creativity. With the guidance of their teachers, the students experimented with shapes, colors, and arrangements, transforming simple ice cream sticks into delightful art pieces. Each creation reflected the child’s unique ideas and artistic expression.

The Ice Cream Stick Craft activity also played an important role in enhancing the children’s fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. As they carefully arranged, pasted, and decorated their crafts, the students developed better control of their fingers and improved concentration. The activity encouraged patience, focus, and problem-solving skills while allowing the children to enjoy learning through play. It also helped build confidence as students proudly completed their artwork independently or with minimal support.

The children participated wholeheartedly and enjoyed every moment of the activity with smiles and excitement. The judges were highly impressed by the creativity, effort, and innovative designs displayed by the young participants. Each craft piece was appreciated for its originality and neatness, making the event truly enjoyable and memorable. Overall, the Ice Cream Stick Craft activity proved to be a wonderful learning experience that combined fun, creativity, and skill development for the Junior KG students.
