NCC ANO Meeting – A Day of Discipline, Leadership & Excellence
The NCC ANO Meeting was held on 28th July 2026 at 10:30 AM at our school campus, bringing together the spirit of discipline, leadership, and service. The meeting was chaired by Gp Capt Mallikarjun Gourimath, Commanding Officer, 2 Kar (T) Air NCC, in the esteemed presence of MWO G.B. Mishra, JWO Naveen Sharma, and JWO Amit Kumar. The programme was conducted in the gracious presence of the School Principal and all Associate NCC Officers (ANOs), creating an inspiring platform for meaningful interaction and discussion.
The programme commenced with an Invocation and Lighting of the Lamp, symbolising knowledge, wisdom, and the pursuit of excellence. This was followed by the NCC Song and Welcome Address, setting a positive and energetic tone for the gathering. A graceful Classical Dance performance added a cultural touch to the programme, beautifully reflecting the values of tradition and discipline. The event brought together the core values of NCC—unity, discipline, leadership, courage, and commitment—in a meaningful celebration of the organisation’s ideals.
A key highlight of the meeting was the insightful briefing by the Commanding Officer on various aspects of NCC training and discipline. Important matters concerning cadet enrolment, training camps, upcoming activities, and administrative requirements were discussed in detail. The interaction provided valuable guidance to the ANOs and reinforced the importance of maintaining high standards of discipline, dedication, and responsibility. The occasion also witnessed the distribution of ‘A’ Certificates to NCC cadets by the Commanding Officer, recognising their successful achievement and commitment to their NCC journey.
The meeting concluded with an inspiring message from the Commanding Officer, encouraging everyone to uphold the highest standards of discipline, dedication, and service. His words served as a strong reminder that NCC plays a vital role in developing responsible, confident, and patriotic young citizens. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by the Adjutant, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, school authorities, ANOs, cadets, and everyone who contributed to the successful conduct of the meeting. 🇮🇳 The event was a memorable occasion that strengthened the spirit of leadership, discipline, and service among the NCC fraternity.
