Makara Sankranti Festival Celebration
On 8th January 2026, the Standard Kids joyfully celebrated the vibrant festival of Makara Sankranti with great enthusiasm and excitement. The celebration was thoughtfully planned to introduce young children to the cultural significance of this harvest festival and to help them understand its importance in Indian tradition. Teachers explained the meaning of the festival in a simple and engaging manner, making it easy for the children to connect with the values of gratitude, sharing, and respect for nature.
The school campus was beautifully transformed into a festive space, adorned with colourful kites, fresh flowers, and traditional decorations. The bright and cheerful surroundings created a lively atmosphere that reflected the true spirit of Makara Sankranti.
