On 1st November 2024, our school celebrated the 68th Karnataka Rajyotsava Celebration: Honoring the Heritage of Karnataka, with immense pride. The day began with the traditional hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the choir’s powerful rendition of the National Anthem. In a vibrant display of regional pride, our state flag was then raised, and students joined together to sing the Karnataka state anthem, filling the air with patriotism and reverence for our roots.

Our Kannada faculty, Ms. Nagarathna, captivated the audience with a heartfelt speech on the history, tradition, and cultural beauty of Karnataka. She reminded us of the legacy we carry as Kannadigas and the responsibility we have in preserving it. Her words resonated deeply, inspiring both students and staff to connect with the essence of our state and its significant contributions to art, literature, and philosophy.

The students added to the day’s splendor with mesmerizing performances that celebrated Karnataka’s cultural vibrancy. Dances to popular Kannada songs had the audience spellbound, as students expressed Karnataka’s colorful folk traditions through their movements. Our choir further enchanted everyone by singing a selection of traditional songs, creating a lively and heartfelt atmosphere that reflected the spirit of Rajyotsava. High school students also took the stage to deliver thought-provoking speeches on the importance of Karnataka Rajyotsava, enlightening peers and faculty alike on its significance.

The celebrations wouldn’t be complete without our nursery stars, who gave a memorable and adorable performance that brought joy and laughter to all. The day concluded with a shared sense of gratitude and pride, reminding us of the rich legacy and unity that Karnataka represents. Through these vibrant festivities, we embraced the beauty of our culture and the bonds that make our state and school community truly unique.
