On 18th July 2024, Standard Kids organized an exciting field trip for the Senior KG Asters and Bluebells to “Prakruthi Vana” in Bangalore. Following the celebration of “Vana Mahotsava” at school, this excursion provided an enriching educational experience for the young minds.

Plants and animals are invaluable gifts from nature, and this trip offered students a unique opportunity to explore and appreciate these natural wonders. They observed a variety of trees, plants, insects, and birds, gaining practical knowledge through direct interaction with nature. This hands-on experience allowed them to learn about the environment in an engaging and memorable way.

The field trip was not only a study of nature but also an enjoyable experience. Students learned about different types of plants and developed the skill of walking in a line on a footpath independently. Additionally, they identified metro stations on the way, learning how to navigate and behave in public, which boosted their confidence. The children’s excitement and curiosity were evident as they eagerly explored and absorbed the new information.

This trip not only enhanced their understanding of nature but also contributed to their personal growth and confidence. The field trip to Prakruthi Vana was a perfect blend of education and fun, leaving lasting memories for the young explorers.
