Exploring Vishwa Shanti Ashram: A Day of Learning and Joy for Junior KG Students

On August 1st and 2nd, 2024, our Junior KG students from Standard Kids embarked on an exciting and educational field trip to the serene Vishwa Shanti Ashram. The anticipation was palpable as the young learners boarded the school van, their faces alight with eagerness for the day’s adventure. This trip promised to be more than just a break from the classroom—it was an opportunity for the children to experience new sights, sounds, and stories that would enrich their understanding of the world around them.

As the students arrived at the Ashram, their excitement only grew. The tranquil environment of the Ashram provided a perfect backdrop for exploration and discovery. The children were captivated by the majestic Ashta Lakshmi statues, each representing a form of the Goddess Lakshmi, and they took in the intricate stone carvings of Krishna and Arjuna on the chariot with awe. The beautiful depiction of the “Sapta Nadigala Sangama,” symbolizing the confluence of seven sacred rivers, left a lasting impression on their young minds, sparking curiosity and wonder.

The day wasn’t just about observing and learning; it was also filled with joy and play. The children delighted in playing with a ball on the lush green grounds of the Ashram, their laughter ringing through the air. Music added to the festive atmosphere as the students danced with abandon, their movements expressing the pure joy of the moment. The combination of learning and play made the experience both memorable and meaningful for the young participants.

This field trip to Vishwa Shanti Ashram was more than just a day out—it was an enriching experience that combined education, culture, and fun. The students returned to school with not only memories of a joyful day but also with a deeper appreciation for the cultural heritage they witnessed. We are grateful to our school management for organizing such a valuable and exciting learning opportunity, which will surely be remembered fondly by all who participated.
