Calligraphy -Junior KG

The 7th Co-curricular activity, Calligraphy, was conducted for the Junior KG students of Standard Kids on 27th February 2026. The activity aimed to introduce young learners to the art of neat and careful writing in a fun and engaging manner. The classroom was filled with excitement as the little students eagerly participated and explored the beauty of forming letters neatly.

During the activity, the students practiced writing simple letters with proper formation and spacing. With the guidance of their teachers, they learned how to hold their pencils correctly and write slowly and carefully. The children tried their best to make their letters clear and well-shaped, showing great enthusiasm throughout the session.

This activity played an important role in improving the students’ handwriting skills while also enhancing their concentration and patience. It helped develop their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, which are essential at this early stage of learning. Practicing calligraphy encouraged the children to focus on neatness and presentation.

Overall, the activity was both enjoyable and educational for the young learners. The students were delighted to see their neat work and proudly presented their writing to their teachers. It was a wonderful experience that motivated them to practice writing neatly in their daily classroom activities.
