Student Council Election 2026–27
The Student Council Election 2026–27 provided an excellent opportunity for the students of Grades 9 and 10 to experience the true spirit of democracy. The election process encouraged students to participate actively in selecting their representatives while fostering values of leadership, responsibility, fairness, and active citizenship. Through this meaningful exercise, students learned that leadership is not merely about holding a position but about serving others with integrity, commitment, and accountability. The event also promoted confidence, teamwork, and respectful participation, making it a valuable learning experience beyond the classroom.
The election process was conducted in a well-organized and transparent manner over several days. On 4th June 2026, nomination papers were issued, and an overwhelming response was received as 75 students enthusiastically filed their nominations for various council positions. After careful scrutiny of the applications on 9th June 2026, eligible candidates officially entered the race and began their campaigns. They confidently presented their ideas, shared their vision for the school, and interacted with their fellow students, demonstrating effective communication, creativity, and a genuine desire to contribute positively to the school community.
The polling was held on 10th June 2026, with students casting their votes responsibly and enthusiastically. The atmosphere reflected the importance of democratic participation, as every vote represented the voice of the student body. Following the polling, the votes were meticulously counted and verified between 10th and 13th June 2026 to ensure complete transparency, accuracy, and fairness throughout the process. Finally, on 15th June 2026, the election results were officially announced, marking the successful completion of a democratic exercise that was conducted with integrity and impartiality.
The Student Council Election proved to be an enriching educational experience for all participants. Students strengthened their leadership, communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills while gaining firsthand knowledge of the democratic process. They also learned the values of healthy competition, sportsmanship, mutual respect, and the responsibilities that come with leadership. The school congratulates every candidate for displaying courage, dedication, and enthusiasm throughout the election journey. Whether elected or not, each participant demonstrated commendable confidence and commitment, taking an important step towards becoming responsible citizens and future leaders.
