Every year, Teacher’s Day is celebrated with immense joy and gratitude to honor the guiding lights of our lives—our teachers. This year, the Standard Group of Schools celebrated the occasion on 6th September with heartfelt tributes, cultural performances, and warm moments that left lasting memories for everyone.
Classroom Celebrations Filled with Gratitude
The day began with students celebrating their teachers in their respective classrooms. With creativity and affection, the children expressed their appreciation through poems, heartfelt messages, and melodious songs, making their class teachers feel cherished and loved. These simple yet meaningful gestures reflected the deep bond between teachers and students.
A Grand Celebration on Campus
The formal program commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and wisdom. The atmosphere was filled with harmony as the school choir presented soulful songs dedicated to teachers.
Adding vibrance to the occasion, our Standard Kids performed lively dance routines, showcasing their joy and enthusiasm. The celebration continued with a series of variety performances by students of Grades 1 to 5—ranging from songs and dances to skits—all expressing their gratitude and admiration for their mentors.
Honoring the Pillars of Standard Group of Schools
One of the most special moments of the day was the felicitation of teachers.
- Teachers who had completed a decade or more of service at the Standard Group of Schools were honored by Mrs. Jayanthi Ma’am, recognizing their dedication and contribution to the institution.
- A few teachers were also specially felicitated for their relentless commitment and remarkable attendance, having been present on almost every working day, setting an inspiring example of dedication.
A Memorable Celebration with Warm Gestures
To make the day even more special, the management organized a sumptuous lunch for all the teachers, creating an opportunity for everyone to bond and celebrate together in a joyful atmosphere.
