The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and national pride at our school. The entire campus was filled with an air of patriotism as students, teachers, and parents came together to honor the nation’s freedom and the sacrifices of our great leaders.

The celebration commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony, led by our respected Chairman, Dr. V. Chandrasekar, along with our esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Malla Bhaskara Rao, MBBS, DNB, FRCS, GMHE, Former Professor & Head, Department of Neurosurgery, NIMHANS, Bangalore. It was indeed a moment of great honor and privilege to have such a distinguished personality grace the occasion. As the tricolor unfurled high, the audience sang the national anthem in unison, creating a powerful and moving atmosphere.

The cultural program began with a vibrant dance performance by the nursery students, whose innocent energy and enthusiasm won everyone’s hearts. This was followed by spirited performances by students from the Standard Group of Schools, who showcased their love for the nation through dance, music, and drama. The school choir added to the fervor with their soulful renditions of patriotic songs, filling the audience with pride and reminding everyone of the nation’s glorious journey to freedom.

Adding to the diversity of the program, students delivered inspirational speeches in English and Kannada, highlighting the significance of Independence Day and the responsibilities of citizens in shaping the future of our country. Their words not only reflected the wisdom of our young generation but also inspired everyone present to contribute towards nation-building.

The highlight of the event was the chief guest’s address. Dr. Rao spoke about the importance of discipline, hard work, and determination in achieving success. He also motivated the students to stay rooted in values while aiming for excellence in their chosen fields.
