Rhymes Enacting – Joyful fun for Junior KG

On 8th July 2025, the campus of Standard Public School was filled with laughter, music, and cheerful voices as our Junior KG students took part in the much-awaited Rhymes Enacting Competition. This engaging activity was not just an entertaining event but also an important step in fostering early childhood development.

Nursery rhymes hold a special place in early learning. They are more than just fun verses; they help children develop language skills, rhythm, memory, cognitive growth, and even physical coordination. Recognizing their value, the competition was designed to combine education with performance, encouraging children to express themselves confidently in front of an audience.

The tiny participants arrived with bright smiles, brimming with excitement and enthusiasm. Each child took the stage to enact their chosen rhyme, using vivid props, creative gestures, and expressive facial movements. From twirling hands for “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” to hopping along with “Johnny Johnny Yes Papa,” their performances radiated energy and innocence.

Parents and teachers were delighted to witness how effortlessly these young learners remembered their lines, coordinated their actions, and displayed a strong sense of stage presence at such an early age. Beyond the fun and laughter, the competition nurtured self-confidence, public-speaking ability, and creativity, making it a meaningful experience for every participant.

The event concluded with warm applause and encouragement, celebrating each child’s effort rather than focusing on competition alone. It was truly heartwarming to see our little stars bring rhymes to life, leaving everyone in the room smiling and inspired.
