Learning Good Manners Through Pictures
On 3rd August 2024, the Senior KG Dahlias class participated in a skill development activity titled “Picture Talk on Good Manners.” This interactive session was designed to instill good habits and personal hygiene practices in young minds through the use of visual aids. By presenting various pictures depicting everyday scenarios, the activity aimed to make learning about manners both engaging and relatable for the children.
During the session, students attentively observed each image and enthusiastically shared their observations and insights. The pictures illustrated actions such as washing hands before meals, using polite language, and other examples of good manners. This open discussion allowed the children to express their understanding and learn from each other’s perspectives, reinforcing the importance of these practices in their daily lives.
The activity significantly contributed to the students’ comprehension of cleanliness, hygiene, and respectful behavior. By connecting visual scenarios to real-life situations, the children were able to enhance their awareness and application of good manners. This hands-on approach not only made the learning process enjoyable but also fostered a sense of responsibility and community among the young learners.
