On August 3rd, 2024, the NCC cadets from Standard Group of Schools took to the streets of MEI Layout, Hesaraghatta Main Road, Bangalore, to perform a powerful Nukkad Natak (street play). The theme of this impactful event was “Swachatha Abhiyan,” aimed at raising awareness about the importance of cleanliness in our surroundings.

Led by our dedicated NCC caretaker, a group of 23 cadets, including 13 Junior Division (JD) and 10 Junior Wing (JW) members, passionately brought the message of cleanliness to life through their performance. The Nukkad Natak captivated the attention of the local community, with residents gathering to watch and engage with the vital message being conveyed.

This initiative by the NCC wing was a commendable effort to inspire the public to take active steps in maintaining a clean environment. The performance not only highlighted the significance of cleanliness but also encouraged the community to embrace the Swachatha Abhiyan with enthusiasm.

The street play was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on the audience and reaffirming our commitment to fostering social responsibility among our students. The event demonstrated the power of creative expression in driving positive change within our community.
