Immunisation Drive at Standard Group of Schools
On September 10th, 2024, the Standard Group of Schools organized a successful Immunisation Drive for students in Grades I, V, and X. The initiative was conducted in collaboration with the Primary Health Care Center, Mallasandra, and aimed at strengthening the health and immunity of our students. With a focus on preventive care, the drive provided vital vaccinations to help protect our students from life-threatening diseases.
The students in Grade I received the Diphtheria-Tetanus-Pertussis (DTP) vaccine, which is instrumental in guarding against diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis. These diseases can be serious, but with timely immunization, children are given the protection they need to build strong defenses. Meanwhile, students from Grades V and X were administered the Tetanus-Diphtheria (TD) vaccine, helping them stay safe from bacterial toxins caused by tetanus and diphtheria.
The drive was carried out with utmost care and precision. Only students who had submitted consent letters from their parents were vaccinated, ensuring that everyone was well-informed and prepared. After receiving their vaccinations, students were safely sent home with their parents. This initiative reflects the school’s ongoing commitment to prioritizing student health and well-being, ensuring they are equipped to lead healthy and active lives.
