Annual Sports Meet: A Week of Sportsmanship in Standard Schools
The much-awaited Annual Sports Meet commenced on the 26th of August with great enthusiasm. The event began with a solemn invocation song, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the start of a vibrant and energetic week ahead. The school flag was proudly hoisted, and the different houses participated in a spectacular March Past, showcasing unity and discipline. It was a sight to behold as the students embodied the spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship.
Throughout the week, various sporting events were conducted, allowing students from every class to showcase their athletic abilities. On the 29th of August, the school celebrated National Sports Day with a special assembly dedicated to the legendary hockey player, Major Dhyan Chand. Students took part in the assembly, sharing inspiring stories of his achievements and contributions to Indian sports.
