A Day of Discovery: Pre-KG Students Explore Vishwa Shanti Ashram
On Wednesday, 7th August 2024, our Pre-KG students embarked on an enriching field trip to Vishwa Shanti Ashram, a serene oasis of spiritual and cultural significance. The day began with an air of excitement as the children eagerly boarded the school van, their faces lit with anticipation for the adventure that awaited them. This trip was not just a break from the routine but a meaningful opportunity for the little ones to connect with nature and spirituality in a tranquil environment.
Upon arrival, the children’s enthusiasm only grew as they set foot on the Ashram’s sacred grounds. They were captivated by the magnificent Ashta Lakshmi, the eight forms of the Goddess Lakshmi, each representing different aspects of life and prosperity. The intricate stone art of Krishna and Arjuna on the chariot left them in awe, offering a glimpse into the rich tapestry of Indian mythology. Their curiosity was further piqued by the “Sapta Nadigala Sangama,” a stunning stone representation of the confluence of seven sacred rivers, symbolizing unity and diversity.
As the day unfolded, the students immersed themselves in the experience, enjoying every moment. The Ashram’s peaceful atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for playful activities, as the children laughed and played with a ball, their joyful energy filling the serene space. The sound of music added to the delight, with the little ones dancing freely, expressing their happiness in the most spontaneous way.
This field trip to Vishwa Shanti Ashram was more than just a day out; it was a journey of learning, fun, and unforgettable memories. The experience offered our Pre-KG students a chance to explore the world beyond their classrooms, fostering a sense of wonder and appreciation for the beauty of art, culture, and nature. As they returned to school, the smiles on their faces reflected the joy and inspiration they had gained from this special day.
